Call me by your Name
Commission Time: Valentina Puggioni ask me to draw something about the movie "Call me by your Name". I knew a little about the movie, so the first phase of this illustration was understood the mood of it. Thier story is setted in Italy, so I like to create a parallelism to Reinassaince (Elio's father is an Archaeology professor and they found an ancient statue in the sea, so why not using history of art to represent it). The peach's presence has two meanings: one is the Latin word "praecoquus", that means "premature" and it's connected to the newborn feelings of Elio toward Oliver. The second one is because I'm a bad person, who can't take seriously any type of romance, but I think that Vale appreciated this.
